Academic Language Week 27 - Drug-Sniffing Dogs
Drug-sniffing dogs should not be allowed for usage by school officials. First reason is that not every student has drugs that they ASSUME does. Next the PROCESS of getting the dogs in the school and evacuating the students out takes away from their quality learning time. Dogs are animals and even trained ones have their animal instincts therefore, they could RESPOND to the students by attacking one of them. In any situation, it is neither safe or school appropriate for drug sniffing dogs to be used by school officials.
