Portfolio - Future

I sometimes prefer not to think about the future because its way to scary. Yet, I do have an idea where I wanna be at. I used to have really big goals but over time I grew up. Now, I just wanna be free and travel. I would like to go to many exotic places where I can help people in need and also just go to have fun and live life. I guess that my future, I just got figure out which road to take to achieve it.

End of Year Reflection – Greatest High School Achievement

It is the end of the year and I am proud of myself for achieving my greatest accomplishment. I have technically made it to Junior year. I have always thought i would never make it in my high school years.  There was a point in time where I had given up on school due to personal experiences but, I have made it through. I have kept up my grades, not as what I hoped in elementary school, and I have finished my first two years. Half way through done I am starting to see the finish line yet, it saddens to how close the end is near. Sometimes I wish I could be forever young.

Portfolio - Improvement

My highschool years have been tough ones but, I always manage through especially, academically. I was very skillful in the writing region, I still am, and I plan to improve my skills by taking more advanced classes. When it came to reading I was always a natural; I just love reading and I plan to challenge myself and never stop. Speaking always and forever will freak me out, talking would seem to be like my forte but professionally and in front crowds is so different than in front of friends. I will push myself in this area by practicing so I can get comfortable. Group-work is something I mastered in elementary and never lost it. Technology was something I found to be a natural in. Sitting in front computers as a kid and I would just do these cool things with and I can fix most problems with any computer. I actually took classes at Santa Clara College and expand my learning I will love to take more too.  To continue and expand my knowledge I will study hard and put in extra work to keep going. Education is something that will not ever stop in my life.

Portfolio - My Educational Experiences

In my life, I have been to very many schools. I have always done good and kept my grades steady but, with the constant school changes credits seem to drift away. For example, when starting a new school my old one usually has done poor job of accurately sending my credits. Or due to moving mid year I don't recieve all of my credits because I didnt finish the classes. But, I ran into a oppertunity when I moved to San Diego. It was an online school called iHigh Academy that allowed me to catch up on many of my missing credits. Now, since attending SPA, I still have few credits to finish but its very little and I am proud of myself for catching up to the point where I can still graduate on time.

End of Year Reflection – Greatest High School Obstacle

In my life, I moved around a lot and this became my greatest obstacle. Attending about 5 schools for just the 10th grade alone is really rough. Not only did this happen in my current highschool years but, throughout my whole life. Being a new girl, soon went from an adventure to a burden. Always leaving my friends and trying to make new ones was emotionally traumatizing. Trying to keep up with my grades was even worse because each school was at different stages in the curriculum. Moving as much as I did can ruin a childhood due to the fact that there isn't nothing to go back on to help you remember things like highschool yearbook or old highschool friends that you graduated with and new for so long. I was made stronger by this because I have to fight to stay afloat and so far I've done really good.

Academic Language Week 38 - Video Games in School Curriculum

Video games in school is an ASPECT of great encouragement to the students. Allowing video games to be placed in the classrooms, along with educational games, will be a FEATURE that is helpful to the students. The excitement of playing it will push the students to follow the guidelines of getting their work done, keeping their grades up, turning in their homework and doing good so they won't recieve the CONSEQUENCE of losing their turn. With the right games, the students will be abled to learn in a fun way. Video games should be allowed in school.

Changes since freshman year

During freshman year, I was motivated and focused and as time progressed I grew less determined to be a straight A student. By the end of freshman year, I had gone off track mentally but somehow managed to keep my grades stable. At the begininng of my sophomore year, I had tried my best to be on the track to college but, the classes I was taking were too hard (I thought) so, I just gave up. I moved from Fremont to San Diego and basically dropped out of school. By the time I came to SPA, I had slowly fallen back into the mindset of going to college and tried hard to keep my grades up. When Senior year comes around, I plan to be ahead in credits and getting scholarships. I know that my Junior year will be my hardest but, I plan to reach my goal.
