Video games in school is an ASPECT of great encouragement to the students. Allowing video games to be placed in the classrooms, along with educational games, will be a FEATURE that is helpful to the students. The excitement of playing it will push the students to follow the guidelines of getting their work done, keeping their grades up, turning in their homework and doing good so they won't recieve the CONSEQUENCE of losing their turn. With the right games, the students will be abled to learn in a fun way. Video games should be allowed in school.

Changes since freshman year
During freshman year, I was motivated and focused and as time progressed I grew less determined to be a straight A student. By the end of freshman year, I had gone off track mentally but somehow managed to keep my grades stable. At the begininng of my sophomore year, I had tried my best to be on the track to college but, the classes I was taking were too hard (I thought) so, I just gave up. I moved from Fremont to San Diego and basically dropped out of school. By the time I came to SPA, I had slowly fallen back into the mindset of going to college and tried hard to keep my grades up. When Senior year comes around, I plan to be ahead in credits and getting scholarships. I know that my Junior year will be my hardest but, I plan to reach my goal.

Academic Language Week 37 - Unhealthy Meal Choices
The fast food indrustry is unhealthy and bad influence for kids. This indrustry has a huge SECTION dedicated to influencing children to eat their food. They THEORY that their influence will increase the chance of them being obese in future is true. If one fast food place provides cheaper and more greasy (more tasty) food then a SIMILAR place will do the same. This leads to even more unhealty choices with a variety of place to choose them at. So, fast food places should not be allowed to target little kids.

Ironic Story Blog Post
Malsya Dean was walking home when she was thinking of ways to get back at the evil witch of person Jane Mard. Jane today decided it would be funny to tell everyone that she found out that Malsya was an experiment baby. So everyone started yelling and calling her E.T. when she came to lunch. Malsya couldn't wait to get home and tell her dad about the crazy day she had. She than began to start thinking of the odd stuff that had been happening to her like how her skin was darkening but yet there hasn't been sunny for the past month and she thinks she maybe getting shorter also her dad has been acting weird too. He locks himself in the basement with what she thinks is the t.v. light flashing on the outline of the door and weird noises. She knocked before and the light turned off and their wasnt any noises anymore. But she brushed it off and hurried home because the bell rang. There was something odd when she arrived home. Her dad wasnt in the kitchen. There was the same noises again coming from down the hall. Except this time it wasn't the basement that was glowing it was her room. She slowly opens her door expecting her Dad to be doing something unusual. Instead it was Jane Mard with green skin implanting a jello substance in her pillows! Then they all died. The end.

Language Week 35 - Sweatshops
Sweatshops are a violation of human rights. The owners of these sweatshops are put their workers under CONTRACTS that basically signs over their life. They are treated unfairly and forced to work in horrible LABOR conditions. Even after APPLYING the fact that these workers need these jobs and have no where else to work, it still doesn't justify the conditions they are put in. Sweatshops don't have to take away human rights and can still give an oppertunity of work.

Academic Language Week 33 - American Students
The students of America are not in a failing rank compared to other countries. Studies showed that a large majority of American pupils are not grade level in reading yet, English is Americas strongest and most important attribute. Not only that, many foreigners migrate here for a better education. Since there is a major migration here from a large variety of countries whose education is nowhere as academically advance as America's, there are many immigrants being tested in areas they havent been taught which brings are scores down. Also, studies said that many students that enter highschool will not graduate or they will dropout, but there is many successful people who have not finished highschool and make million because they were already so smart. So these studies can not determine the value of Americas education and with that said American students are not academically challenged compared to other countries.
